Art Pollen
8/21/2026
An offline-first, place-based feed for art. Your phone holds eight slots — three you lock, the rest keep moving — and pieces travel by encounter: a Bluetooth handshake as you pass someone in the street, or a swap with a venue's node over its Wi-Fi. Deliberate scarcity is the point. Because the space is small, everything in it is something you chose, and the art becomes a reason to physically show up somewhere. Nodes at places like a night cafe or a sauna hold twenty-five pieces each and drift into a palette of their own, shaped by whoever walks through the door. What crosses between two phones is a few kilobytes of metadata — name, maker, and where the picture lives — so it fits in the second you are walking past; the file itself catches up over Wi-Fi. Duplicates never take a slot, so what you carry stays varied.
